Handy library for manipulating strings, string arrays, buffers, CGI forms,
configuration files, textual templates, regular expressions, date/time parsing,
et cetera.

Handles base64, quoted-printable, url_encode, mime-words and other encoded data.

Please have a look at strfunc(3) and other manual pages.

KNOWN ISSUES:

While the library has showed itself as stable and useful piece of code,
there are couple of moments that I consider to be a minor to severe
design flaws. See TODO file also.

* "Too much stuff inside"

	Yep. However, the library is less than 64k when stripped,
	so who cares? Key word here is "legacy": the library must
	support existing codebase.

* Name space pollution

	Libstrfunc is optimized for quick implementation of fast
	string and text-related utilities, where Perl is not suitable
	for efficiency or other reasons. Therefore, the library functions
	are named accordingly to provide readability: eq(), param(),
	format(), etc. This means that if your program is relatively large,
	these names might conflict with functions in your own source code.
	I don't really think of it as of an issue, however, you probably want
	to play safely, as always ;)

* Date/time parsing implementation is cryptic

	Hint: this is the fastest implementation I am aware of.

* Documentation (the set of man pages) does not cover all topics well

	Yeah, commercial support is also available ;)
