This directory probably will mainly contain patches against upstream
source tarballs, to make them send cluepackets to the dashboard.

* dashboard-frontend.c

	- This file contains the clue-sending code shared by all the
	  C-based frontends. It's intentionally written so that
	  frontends should just #include it, avoiding the overhead
	  of adding a library.

* cluepacket-test-server

	- This program is a Dashboard server work-alike for testing
	  frontend code on platforms where the Dashboard doesn't yet
	  run. It will report some common errors in cluepacket
	  formats.

* gaim-plugin.c

	- To build this, copy it and dashboard-frontend.c into
	  gaim/plugins, and add the appropriate lines to
	  Makefile.am. Be sure to enable the plugin in Gaim's
	  preferences.

 	  The patch is against Gaim CVS.

          Instead of copying, you may want to symlink; that makes it
          easier not to get confused.

* evolution_mail-frontend*.patch

	- Apply this in evolution/. I am using CVS HEAD from the
          file's embedded timestamp.

* epiphany_dashboard-frontend*.patch

	- Apply this to the root of the epiphany tree. This is against
	  CVS HEAD, but it may work with other versions. You need to have
	  dashboard-frontend.c symlinked into epiphany/src.

	- You can get an RPM with this patch applied at:
	  http://www.snorp.net/files/packages/epiphany-0.7.3-2.i386.rpm

* gthumb_dashboard-frontend*.patch

	- Apply this with patch -p1 inside the gthumb directory. This is
	  against CVS HEAD but it may work with newer versions.

* dashboard.py

	- This is a python interface for a Dashboard frontend. Usage
	  is documented at the top of the file. It is intended to
	  work with both python 1.5.x and 2.x.

* Dashboard.pm

	- This is a perl interface for a Dashboard frontend. Usage
	  is documented at the bottom of the file in POD format.

* dashboard.el

	- This is an elisp interface for a Dashboard frontend. Usage
	  is documented at the top of the file.

* Cluepacket.java

    - This is a Java class which can create and send Cluepackets.
      Usage can be found in the main method.

* NioCluepacket.java

    - This is a Java 1.4 compatible class which creates and sends
      Cluepackets in a non-blocking fashion. Usage can be found
      in the main method.
