Version 0.3.7
 * Fixed some big bugs.
 * Now searches user data directory for tracks and cars as well as default data directory. This means hopefully easier installation of custom tracks and cars.
 * Fixed the bug with the wheels being in the wrong place at the start.

Version 0.3.6
 * Changed license to BSD style license (this change happened in 0.3.5 but I forgot to mention it there).
 * Created a windows compatible build
 * Improved menus and preferences appearance and handling somewhat
 * Various other minor improvements
 * A new track (Hairpin created by Jeff Hanson)

Version 0.3.5
 * Support for XBOX 360 Controller and other gamepads or joysticks (testing)
 * Start lights
 * FMOD is now optional. If one configures without FMOD installed then sounds will be automatically disabled.
 * Created an AI for the Hot Potato Mode.
 * Fixed bugs in code.
 * Fixed bugs in autotools scripts.
 * Added preference options to turn on/off music and sounds.
 * Mac OS X bundle built in Leopard using Xcode 3.0.

Version 0.3.4
 * Getting rid of OpenAL in favour of the FMOD Ex sound library which allows for music and sound effects to be used together far more easily. The FMOD Ex library has a license that permits free use in free games which would include this game, thankfully.
 * Engine sounds are played for all cars in the game now instead of just the first two.
 * The Mac version is now a Universal Binary.

Version 0.3.3a
 * Fixed issues with ALUT and OpenAL frameworks (I hope). I don't have another OS X machine to test it on though.

Version 0.3.3
 * Implemented engine sound and 3d sound effects using OpenAL. Engine sounds are only played for the first two players in a game.
 * Added an icon to the Mac OS X bundle. The icon is a Toyota Celica model by Gaurav Nawani rendered using Blender 2.43. The license for the model allows use of it freely for non-commercial gains.
 * Put OpenAL and ALUT frameworks into OS X app bundle. Current version of OpenAL has a bug in it which causes a memory freeing error when calling alutExit. Hopefully this will be fixed for next release.

Version 0.3.2
 * Added text notifications to the track editor of errors and success
 * Fixed bug in Xcode project - now executables are statically linked against certain libraries that they were dynamically linked to before.

Version 0.3.1
 * Fixed so that make dist works properly now
 * Changed knock-em out mode so cars must be completely off screen to be knocked out
 * Updated tinyxml library
 * Added track editor
 * Minor change to main menu
 * Bug fixes

Version 0.3.0
 * Added menu to choose number of players.
 * Computer controlled players implemented.
 * Updated TinyXML library to latest version.
 * New game mode "Hot Potato" implemented.
 * Music will replay now once finished.
 * Bug fixes.

Version 0.2.7
 * Added preferences menu.
 * Added credits menu item.
 * Fixed numerous bugs.

Version 0.2.6
 * Title music added. SDL_mixer is now required.
 * Modified track files.
 * Improved four player mode.

Version 0.2.5
 * Bug fix release. Fixed some bugs causing compile errors and potential crashes on some systems.

Version 0.2.4
 * Added selection of cars to choose from.
 * Added title screen.
 * Implemented course time and best lap time.

Version 0.2.3
 * Renamed configure.in to configure.ac and added a couple of .cvsignore files to better handle cvs updates.
 * Renamed this file from changelog to ChangeLog.
 * Removed the --enable-data-dir option again. Now properly installs data files into $(datadir)/$PACKAGE location. Can use command line option -datadir to specify an unusual location at runtime.
 * Added an --enable-data-dir option to the configure script for setting the location of the data files. Not sure if this is the best solution to this problem.
 * GNU Autotools implemented. Has been tested on the Linux machines at uni and works well.
 * Changed format of this changelog file.

Version 0.2.2
 * This is the first version released under the GNU GPL.
 * Previous version history involved:
   * 23/2/05 Improved overall engine design. Added particles for dust sprays (looks great!). Uses timing for smooth gameplay on all machines.
   * 4/1/05 Added SDL and SDL_image frameworks to the application bundle (on Mac OS X).
   * 3/1/05 First version released (binary only, not source)
