This directory contains files to generate empty stubs (functions
and methods that have the correct signature but otherwise
do nothing and return 0 or otherwise bogus values.

Before running, make sure you have PDT and Xalan-J installed. PDT was
required to build Chasm, so it should be available. Let XALAN_ROOT
be the directory containing the Xalan-Java distribution.

Steps for usage:

1. Run PDT_INSTALLATION/bin/cxxparse on a header file (myheader.h) to produce
myheader.pdb
2. Run CHASM_INSTALLATION/src/xmlgen/xmlgen myheader.xml myheader.h.pdb
3. Run java -cp $XALAN_ROOT/bin/xalan.jar org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process -xsl cxx-stubs.cc.xsl -in myheader.xml -out mystubs.cc

NOTE: You will likely need to copy CHASM_INSTALLATION/xml/schema/mapping.dtd
to your directory before step 3 will work.

------------

Example:

  % cp $CHASM_INSTALLATION/xml/schema/mapping.dtd .
  % cp $CHASM_INSTALLATION/contrib/CxxStubs/*.xsl .
  % $PDT_INSTALLATION/bin/cxxparse myheader.h
  % $CHASM_INSTALLATION/src/xmlgen/xmlgen myheader.xml myheader.h.pdb
  % java -cp $XALAN_ROOT/bin/xalan.jar org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process -xsl cxx-stubs.cc.xsl -in myheader.xml -out mystubs.cc

The first two steps are only temporary - once we have scripts hiding the
process, you will be able to leave the style sheets and DTD/Schema in their
original locations.
