----------- Kemistry Libraries Compilation and Installation Instructions ----

In order to compile and install Kemistry please follow these instructions.
Please remember: Kemistry requires KDE 3.0 (tested with Beta 2)

1) Create the configure script:
	$ make -f Makefile.cvs
This step must be executed only if you have downloaded Kemistry sources
via CVS.
You will need recent versions of autoconf, automake and perl.

2) Run the "configure" script:
	$ ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3

If you have installed KDE 3 under a different prefix (for example
/usr/local) you must specify it:
	$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local
You may compile with debug informations enabled (very useful if you want submit a
bug report):
	$ ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3 --enable-debug

3) Compile kemistry sources:
	$ make

4) Install kemistry libraries and data files (you must have root privileges
in order to successfully complete this step):
	$ su
	# make install
