Overnet commmand line client for GNU/Linux
 (c)1999-2002 MetaMachine

 Homepage and forum: http://www.overnet.com

 Command line client usage:
 --------------------------
 	Put this command line client in its own subdirectory
 	of your home directory, e.g. /home/joe/overnet/

 	Always change into that directory before you
 	start the client:
 		cd /home/joe/overnet
 		./overnet_43

 	Reason: the client reads and writes its configuration file
 	from and into the current working directory.

 	Type '?' to get a list of commands.

 	If you get an error on startup saying 'Can't listen for connections.',
 	change the listening port with the 'port' command to another port, e.g. 3662.

 Graphical User Interfaces:
 --------------------------
 	This command line client can be controlled via a Graphical User Interface(GUI)
 	(=windows and buttons). There are two main GUI controllers available:

 	* ed2k-gtk-gui: http://ed2k-gtk-gui.sourceforge.net (Linux/*nix only)

 	* Java Controller: http://www.edonkey2000.com/downloads.html (Linux/Win/MacOSX)

 	If you want to remote control the command line client, you MUST set up an
 	admin username and password using the 'pass joe joepass' command, and you
 	MUST start it with the '-' command line option (otherwise it won't open the
 	port it listens on for GUI connections, port 4663)

 Now enjoy.
