This is a step-by-step instruction on building and deploying a CMPI
Files and Directories RPM.

Make sure you an RPM installed providing the cmpi-devel capability
------------------------------------------------------------------
You can build the SBLIM CMPI Development package yourself by performing
the following steps:

1. Download the following file
   http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sblim/sblim-cmpi-devel-0.9.0.tar.bz2
2. Run the following command
   rpmbuild -ta sblim-cmpi-devel-0.9.0.tar.bz2
3. Install the resulting RPM with the following command
   cd <your RPM top directory>/RPMS/<architecture>
   rpm -ivh sblim-cmpi-devel-0.9.0-0.<architecture>.rpm

Build the RPM
-------------
There are basically two possibilities, depending on how you have obtained this
package:

A: Downloaded as tarball (sblim-cmpi-fad-<version>.tar.bz2)
   Run rpmbuild -ta sblim-cmpi-fad-<version>.tar.bz2

B: Checked out from CVS
Run the following sequence of commands
     ./autoconfiscate.sh
     ./configure
     make dist-bzip2
     rpmbuild -ta sblim-cmpi-fad-<version>.tar.bz2

Make sure you have an RPM installed providing the cimserver capability
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can build the Small Footprint CIM broker package by yourself by performing
the following steps:

1. Checking out the sfcb sources from CVS with
   export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/sblim
   cvs co -P sfcb
   cd sfcb
   cvs co -PO mofc
2. Run the following commands
   ./autoconfiscate.sh
   ./configure
   make dist-bzip2
   rpmbuild -ta sfcb-<version>.tar.bz2
3. Install the resulting RPMs with the following commands
   cd <your RPM top directory>/RPMS/<architecture>
   rpm -ivh sfcb-<version>-0.<architecture>.rpm
   rpm -ivh sfcb-schema-<version>-0.<architecture>.rpm

Install your provider RPM
-------------------------
Assuming you have installed sfcb run
   cd <your RPM top directory>/RPMS/<architecture>
   rpm -ivh sblim-cmpi-fad-<version>-0.<architecture>.rpm
   sfcbrepos

Start the CIM Server
--------------------
In case of sfcb run
   /etc/init.d/sfcb start

Test the Providers
------------------
You will need a WBEM Client. One possibility is wbemcli, which you can
obtain and build from the SBLIM website.

1. Download the following file
   http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sblim/sblim-wbemcli-1.4.8c.tar.bz2
2. Run the following command
   rpmbuild -ta sblim-wbemcli-1.4.8c.tar.bz2
3. Install the resulting RPM
   cd <your RPM top directory>/RPMS/<architecture>
   rpm -ivh sfcb-wbemcli-<version>-0.<architecture>.rpm

Now you can enumerate the instance names of CWS_Directory by executing
    wbemcli ein http://localhost/root/cimv2:CWS_Directory
