1.0  What's DJ's Player?

    Very simple answer: it's a (simple) CD player for Linux
    (and compatible operating systems).

2.0  Installation

    (see section 4.0)
    To install DJ's Player do this:
    * extract packet with command "tar -zxvf djplayXX.tgz",
      where XX is the version number (don't do this, if you
      came here from section "4.0 Configuring")
    * in the directory where to did you extracted the packet, type
      "make all && make clean"
    * if you want to run DJ's Player in any directory of system
      type "make install" as root
    * now type "./djplayer" (or "djplayer", if you did "make install")

3.0  How to use it?

    Run "djplayer". Now give one of these command (just by
    typing the letter):
        * "t" Select track
	* "n" Next track
	* "p" Previous track
	* "s" Stop playing
	* "u" paUse playing
	* "r" Resume playing
	* "f" Refresh tracks (needed when CD has been changed)
	* "e" Eject the CD
	* "c" Run shell. Return with "exit" or Ctrl+D.
	* "q" Quit
	--< Next ones need 'aumix' program installed (usually comes
	    with your Linux distribution) >--
	* "->" CD volume up by ten steps
	* "<-" CD volume down by ten steps
	* "+" Main volume up by ten steps
	* "-" Main volume down by ten steps

    If you quit without "stop" command the program goes on playing CD.

4.0  Configuring

    If the program can not find your CD-ROM drive or if you don't
    like the colors of DJ's Player, you can configure the program
    in file "config.h". Open it with your favourite editor (like pico).

    The file has comments in it, so it should be easy to change
    the options.

    After tou have changed the file "config.h" run this command:
    "touch djplayer.c". Now continue from "2.0 Installation".

5.0  Other stuff

    Please report all bugs to: klasse@mbnet.fi.

    Also all questions to same address.

    Please tell what do you would like to see in the
    next version of DJ's Player.

    You are welcome to go on with this tiny project.
    The project is currently needing:
    * Better documentation. The documentation needs (?) some "make-up",
      because my English isn't very good (as you can see ;-).
    * What do YOU need? That's what DJ's Player is needing!
