Available Shortcuts

New File: CTRL+N - Create a new file. This action can only be done if there is a project already open.

New Project: CTRL+P - Create a new project. There are templates for console-based C and C++ projects at this time. Projects provide an easy way to manage multiple source files without any effort needed by the user.

Open: CTRL+0 - Open an existing file or project. OpenLDev can open any UTF-8 encoded file. The program automatically detects whether it is an OpenLDev project file or a source file.

Save: CTRL+S - Save the file that is currently being shown. There are also functions for saving the file under a new name, saving all of the open files and reverting to the saved version of the file.

Quit: CTRL+Q - Close the OpenLDev window. Before closing, all open files will be saved. Your settings will be reloaded on launch as well as the lastly opened project.

Find: CTRL+F - Show or hide the find toolbar. This option does not actually perform the find command, but only toggles the toolbar.

Find Next: F3 - Find the next occurrence of the text in the buffer. This function wraps around the buffer. There is a find previous command available on the find toolbar as well.
