[h]Introduction[/h]

Open Linux Developer is a development environment based on the Gtkmm libraries that provides a graphical front-end to Linux compilers such as gcc. It includes the basic essentials needed by a Linux programmer. It is a graphical interface to the collection of command line programming tools available for Linux and UNIX systems. These are usually run via a text console, and can be unfriendly to use.

OpenLDev is a way to take the power of those command line tools with an easy-to-use graphical user interface. If you have any problems, please report them at http://www.openldev.org/forum/. This will help to improve the software as well as helping yourself and others.
