Tested on: WinXP/SP2
=================================================================
	With : VLC 0.8.6d (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)
	And  : ffmpeg r11143 (binaries: http://ffdshow.faireal.net/mirror/ffmpeg/)

NOTES:
=================================================================
	These binaries were built from the clive Python source code
	using the py2exe (http://www.py2exe.org/) extension. This
	package contains the Python 2.5 interpreter with all required
	and optional (e.g. urlgrabber, Tk/Tcl, win32clipboard) modules.

	VLC / ffmpeg

		Neither is included or required to use clive. If you need
		them, you can get them from the URLs listed above.

		Install both programs to a path without any whitespace
		in them. For example:

			C:\VLC
			C:\ffmpeg

		VLC installation defaults to:

			C:\($PROGRAM_FILES)\VideoLAN\VLC

		which will not work with clive.

	Configuration

		On WinXP/2000 etc. the path to ~/.clive/config.py file is:

		  C:\Documents and Settings\($USER)\clive\config.py

		You can configure graphically with the command:

			% clive --configure

		The configuration GUI takes care of editing the `config.py' file
		so this is recommended for those users less familiar with the
		Python language.

		NOTE: If you edit the config.py file manually, be sure to
		use '/' instead of '\' in paths. For example:

			...
			"player":"c:/vlc/vlc.exe %i"
			...

	Manual page

		A text version of the clive(1) manual page is included.

USAGE EXAMPLES:
=================================================================
	- A basic video extraction:

		% clive URL

	- The same but with subsequent playback:

		% clive --player="c:/vlc/vlc.exe %i" --play=src URL

	- The above combined with re-encoding:

		% clive --player="c:/vlc/vlc.exe %i" --play=mpg \
			ffmpeg="c:/ffmpeg/ffmpeg.exe -y -i %i %o" URL
