This is nothing interesting for crrcsim users, I think...it's just about
internals.

Details about crrcsim. Jens Wilhelm Wulf, 2004-10-31

Every time the flight model is calculated, the following assignments are
made in ls_cockpit:

    Lat_control  = aileron_input;
    Long_control = elevator_input;
    Rudder_pedal = rudder_input;
    Throttle_pct = throttle_input;

In crrc_main.cpp there also are
    brake_input
    flap_input
    spoiler_input
    retract_input
They are unused!!! Values might be assigned to them, but they don't do
anything. Looks like someone planned to use them, but did not do so up to
today.

So the first four values are (currently) the only way to give input to the
flight model.

If one wanted to implement some kind of control loop or just take a look at
the planes states, it should be done in the function ls_update (ls_interface.c),
in the multiloop-times loop just before ls_loop is called. It would be
called with a (real world, not computation time) dt as configured (currently
about 360 Hz).

The aerodynamic model is calculated in crrc_aero.c. With every ls_loop the
function aero(..) is called.

Interesting variables are in ls_generic.h.

I try to identify some of the interesting ones:

#define Alpha generic_.alpha angle of attack? (radians)

#define	U_dot_body generic_.v_dot_body_v[0] forward acceleration

#define	V_down_rel_airmass  generic_.v_local_rel_airmass_v[2]    sink rate?
#define	U_body		    generic_.v_wind_body_v[0]            Wind-relative velocity forward
