SetiStat
========

Introduction
------------

SetiStat shows some information on your SETI@home client. It can report
the state and progress of all available work units, received credit,
information on your host machine, and some more.

Currently, I have tested it and got it running on the following platforms:
Linux (Debian 3.0)
Mac OS X (10.3)
Solaris (9)

Usage
-----

When you run SetiStat for the first time it creates its configuration
file $HOME/.setistatrc. You can customize this file to tell SetiStat
where to look for the BOINC client and data files.

Edit the line starting with 'boincdir' to tell SetiStat where to look
for the data files of the BOINC client. If the client itself is not in
your PATH you can add the line 'clientcommand' and give the full path
to the BOINC client program to be able to start and stop it from
within SetiStat.

When SetiStat is running you can swith between the overview window and
the host information window with the 'o' and 'h' keys. To start the
BOINC client press 's', to stop it press 'k'. The data shown is updated
automatically every 20 seconds, to update it manually press 'r'. Use 'q'
to quit the program.
