Warp Rogue Compile Guide

Dependencies

SDL 1.2.9 or higher

Make Files

mingw32.mak - Windows / MinGW (pure MinGW i.e. no MSYS)
unixgcc.mak - UNIX / GCC (only tested on Linux)
macosx.mak - Mac OS X / GCC

Building

All ports use make files and the process of building is similar on all platforms:

- CD to the /src directory

- execute: [make tool] -f[make file] install

- an executable called "wrogue" should be generated in the main program directory
  example: mingw32-make -fmingw32.mak install

General Instructions for Unsupported Compilers

- add the following directories to the include path of your compiler:
  /src, /src/lib, /src/ui

Make sure that these directories are searched by your compiler
BEFORE all other directories! This is necessary because otherwise
your compiler might include wrong header files!

- add all .c files in the directories mentioned above to your project/make file

- add the back-end file for your target platform to your project/make file
(for Windows add be_win.c, for UNIX add be_unix.c, etc.)

- add the SDL back-end file (be_sdl.c) to your project/make file
