XawDecode.desktop:
This is a kde2 and gnome goodie. Copy it into:
    /home/$USER/.kde/share/applnk-mdk/Multimedia/Video
    and
    /home/$USER/.gnome/apps-mdk/Multimedia/Video
(be carefull: these are Mandrake paths and might be different on your
    system)
On a Debian system, you might try to copy it to:
    /home/$USER/.gnome/apps/Multimedia
    and
    /home/$USER/.kde/share/applnk/Multimedia

WindowMaker:
This a windowmaker goodie. Edit your windowmaker menu file (should be
    something like /home/$USER/GNUstep/Library/WindowMaker/menu) and modify
it to be somewhat identical to the sample given in _WindowMaker

xawdecode.kdelnk:
Is supposed to be a kde goodie. However I had reports telling me that it
wouldn't work. As I do not use KDE, well I don't know. Maybe it is a
KDE1 compliant file and hence not compatible with KDE2 (just a guess...)
