Do you use threads_enter()/leave() in your code?
run starts another loop and if you fire this dialog with a timeout or
sth like it it may need threads_enter() if you already use it
see a FAQ entry I wrote recently in threads section
the crash has to do with the fact that you're using threads in a not correct way

someone that knows pygtk/gtk good [devs :)] should write a "Writing
Threads in PyGTK" Tutorial someday soon
