Gtk+ Journal (c)2004 by Adam Olsen

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Gtkmm 2.x (http://www.gtkmm.org)
2. OpenSSL (http://www.openssl.org)
3. SQLite (http://www.sqlite.org)

This runs on my Debian Linux machine, but it should compile on most *nix platforms (and Windows if you try really hard).
You will only need the binary library packages to run the program. You will need the libraries and any -dev packages (if they
apply on your distrobution) if you want to compile the source.

INSTALLATION:

type "make" to build the program, and then "make install" to install it (you will need to have root permissions for the installation)

NOTES FOR 0.3.3a USERS:

A bug in this version effects all new journals created... they will be broken. Journals converted from 0.3.2a
will not be effected. I released 0.3.4a to fix this problem. You will need to erase your 0.3.3a journals -
I'm really sorry about this.

NOTES FOR 0.3.2a USERS:

The file format has changed, so you will need to convert your old Journal file to the new format. You can do this by
compiling the converter - change to the converter-0.3.3a directory, type make, and then type ./converter. The rest
should be pretty straighforward. Once you are sure that it's been converted ok, you can remove your ~/.gtkjournal directory
(it's no longer needed in the new format)

Please do not hesitate to email me (adamolsen@net-bizz.com) if you have problems with the converter, or with any other
part of the program.

Thanks,

Adam Olsen
