Detailed Description

The mdnshander monitors services via mDNS (Multicast Domain Name Service), also branded by Apple as Bonjour (formally Rendezvous, see references below). You can recieve up and down events that contain the ip, port and name for the service of the type specified.

Wire keywords (standard handler keywords documented in Wire )

servicematch: up-event down-event service protocol domain (if either up-event, down-event are empty strings they are ignored, if protocol is an empty string it defaults to 'tcp' and if domain is an empty string it defaults to 'local')

You my have multiple servicematch: lines. Example:

Events generated:

Event Name	Type	Description
up	AW_EVENT_TYPE_STRING	Service with matching name is up, send string as ip\|port\|service\|name
down	AW_EVENT_TYPE_STRING	Service with matching name is that was up is now down, send string as ip\|port\|service\|name
