DESCRIPTION

NAME

mccrx − Multicast file receiver

SYNOPSIS

mccrx [-mcaddress <multicast ip> ] [-mcport <port> ] [-mcinterface <network interface> ] [-timeout <seconds> ] [-cmd <command> ] [-ecmd <command> ] [-sched <policy> <priority> ] [-verbose] [-help]

DESCRIPTION

mccrx listens on the specified multicast address/port for files sent by mcctx. If -cmd or -ecmd are used, then the associated commands are executed on success or failure, respectively. The filename is available as $v. For example: mccrx -cmd ’./myscript $v’ will run myscript on each copied file. NOTE: The commands cannot contain any shell operators like file redirection or pipes. If you want to pipe a string of commands or redirect the output simply wrap them in a shell script.
