Steps to install:

	- Get external packages required for features you want,
          please read EXTERNAL_PACKAGES

	- Set environment variable AWARE_HOME to the directory
that the Aware source has been unpacked, e.g.:

		export AWARE_HOME=/usr/local/aware

	- cd to $AWARE_HOME

	- type './configure'

		- NOTE: you will be asked questions about optional
		  external software to link

	- type 'make'

	- type 'make install' , answer questions

		- NOTE: you likely want to 'su root' if you are installing into a root owned area.

		- NOTE: if you installed into a directory different from $AWARE_HOME,
update your LD_LIBRARY_PATH and PATH vars.

	- Set environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include
the 'lib' directory, this is needed for running aware apps, e.g.:

		export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:$AWARE_HOME/lib/linux2.4_i586/

	- Set environment variable PATH to include the
'bin' directory, this is needed for running aware apps, e.g.:

		export PATH=$PATH:$AWARE_HOME/bin/linux2.4_i586/

	- run the management UI, point a browser at http://<host>/aware

	- for more advanced uses:

		- run the examples ($AWARE_HOME/examples) and learn what it can do...

		- run any custom wire scripts in /etc/awared/customizations.wire

		- Set any environment variables your handlers need in
	  	  /etc/awared/customizations.sh (e.g., LD_LIBARARY_PATH for Oracle)
