Ttyutils Document README
========================

Ttyutils uses DocBook as document formatting system, which support
wide output format such as HTML, PDF, PS and UNIX manpage.

DocBook Introduction
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At first, you should not compare DocBook with OpenOffice or MS Word
and other What Is You See Is What Is You Get(WIYSIWIS) typesettings
system. When work with DocBook, you should think how to select a
mark to description the contents itself(is it a compute command,
a parameter of command, a piece of source code, and so on), instead
of the how the contents will appear on the paper(such as font, size,
color and so on).
Work with Ttyutils Document
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Beacuse DocBook just a markup language, document write with DocBook
is not for end user, to publish, we need tools to convert DocBook
to other document format such as HTML or PDF, and so on.

There has several tools can convert DocBook to other format, each
has it's advantage and disadvantage. we need not all of them.

So, for convertion and convenience, we have write a script named
ttydgen.sh, to convert DocBook documents.

When work with Ttyutils Documents, you should modify ttydgen.sh
instead of invent a new wheel, tthdgen.sh is welcome to modify.
