	* builtin/TestKernel.rb:

	I have gotten a Mac Mini, so I decided to try out rubicon.
	For some reason Rubicon got a bus error in
	builtin/TestKernel.rb#test_s_open2. I have disabled this test for MacOS,
	so that rubicon doesn't terminate suddenly. Status on MacOS:
	All 71 files  FAIL  955  23352  2  0

2005-02-08 13:42  holmberg

	* builtin/TestDir.rb:

	Added a test to verify that Dir.chdir {...} returns the value of
	the block. No such test existed before as far as I can see.

2005-01-15 23:57  holmberg

	* builtin/TestKernel.rb, language/TestInvocation.rb:

	Make sure the same Ruby exeutable is used in the whole testsuite.
	If another Ruby instance is invoked from one of the tests we should
	NOT used the "ruby" that happens to be in the PATH (if there is
	any).

	Instead we should use the executable specified by $interpreter.
	That variable is set in "rubicon.rb" to be the	path to the Ruby
	executable used in the original invokation of the Rubicon test(s).
	For example, if the original invocation was:

	    $ ~/installs/ruby-1.8.2/bin/ruby AllTests.rb

	then all extra invocations of Ruby in the testcases should also use
	the same installation: the one under ~/installs/ruby-1.8.2 .

2005-01-07 14:23  holmberg

	* release_package.rb:

	We have started to maintain the ChangeLog with "cvs2cl" instead of
	relying on each commiter to also update the ChangeLog. The "old"
	ChangeLog contained entries from the time Rubicon existed at
	ruby-lang.org, and we don't want to loose these entries. Therefore
	the existing ChangeLog was copied to ChangeLog.old and comitted
	under that name. After this was done, we intend to maintain the
	ChangeLog with a command like:

	    $ cvs2cl -S --ignore ChangeLog

	So before a release, this command is run and the new ChangeLog is
	commited. The old file "ChangeLog.old" should never change after
	the first version has been commited.

2005-01-07 13:53  holmberg

	* builtin/TestIO.rb:

	Cygwin is more like a UN*X than like Windows when it comes to how
	IO.popen works. The change was done in	the #test_pid test method.

2005-01-07 13:39  holmberg

	* builtin/TestIO.rb:

	Added recognition of MacOS when deciding what to expect from
	select(2). MacOS seem to work like Solaris when it comes to how
	regular files are handled in the "exception file descriptors"
	parameter to select(2).

	Maybe this test in Rubicon is to detailed. If we get more problems
	on other platforms, we should probably say that *any* of the
	possible answers is OK on *any* of the platforms.

2005-01-07 13:23  holmberg

	* builtin/TestDir.rb:

	Removed the regression test for an error that existed in Ruby 1.8.x
	somewhere around sep. 2004. The test verified that Dir.chdir {...}
	didn't try to restore the current directory if the first chdir(2)
	call failed.

	The test was *too complicated*, and it didn't work on all
	platforms.

2005-01-05 11:19  holmberg

	* rubicon_tests.rb:

	Adjusted _fstat_map and _stat_map : Windows ---> WindowsNative.
	This change makes a Cygwin built Ruby pass more stat(2) related
	tests.	The change seems right since Cygwin actually tries to fool
	us that it is some kind of UN*X.

2005-01-03 18:42  holmberg

	* builtin/TestFile__Stat.rb:

	Change test of "write only" permissions on files to handle the fact
	that this works differently on Windows. As the Windows
	documentation of chmod(2) says:

	    Note that all files are always readable;
	    it is not possible to give write-only permission.

2005-01-03 18:27  holmberg

	* builtin/TestFileTest.rb:

	Transform a "Windows.known_problem" section of test code to a
	"Windows.dont" section.

	Reason: the tests are only interesting on UN*X where the concept of
	the "root" user is available. geteuid(2) is faked in Ruby on
	Windows and therefore the test is useless there.

2005-01-03 17:28  holmberg

	* builtin/TestDir.rb:

	Made test of error case for "Dir.chdir {}" pass on Solaris too.
	See comments in the code for a detailed explanation. It has to do
	with how getcwd(3) works on Solaris.

2005-01-03 16:47  holmberg

	* builtin/TestKernel.rb:

	Removed old explicit "fail" call on Windows in "test_s_open2".	The
	call said:

	  MsWin32.only do
	    fail "This hangs the tests as the background process never
	terminates"
	  end

	This was probably true before, but with Ruby 1.8.2 the testcase
	seem to work (no hanging on Windows). So there is no need to
	handle Windows separately any more.

2005-01-03 13:13  holmberg

	* builtin/TestIO.rb:

	The detailed operation of select(2) on different platforms seem to
	vary quite a lot. The testcase "test_s_select" have now been
	modified to reflect this. The platforms with "different" behaviour
	are Solaris and Windows.

	This change to the testcase was done to eliminate a "phony" error
	in Rubicon (I guess Ruby will never try to enforce the the same
	behaviour when the underlying platform differs, as it is for
	"select").

2004-12-30 00:32  holmberg

	* builtin/TestRange.rb:

	Added tests of #step, #hash and #eql? methods.	So far the #eql?
	and #== methods are tested by the same generic test method.
	Specific tests ought to be added for cases where there would be a
	difference.

2004-12-28 16:07  holmberg

	* rubicon.rb:

	Better reference to source location in "known_problem" method.	The
	previous reference inside "test/unit" was useless. The current
	reference should point to the code (in a testcase) that called the
	"known_problem" method.

2004-12-28 14:45  holmberg

	* util/checkstat.c:

	Fixed off-by-one error when reading argc.

2004-12-28 10:07  holmberg

	* builtin/TestTime.rb:

	Fixed bug in "os_specific_epoch" method: there was a precedence
	error between "or" and "? :". It made the method return the wrong
	value on Windows (true instead of a String). The code is now
	rewritten as an if-statement.

2004-12-27 20:01  holmberg

	* builtin/TestDir.rb:

	Collected the tests of #delete, #unlink and #rmdir in one place.
	Also handle the fact that rmdir(2) on Solaris returns EEXIST when a
	directory is not empty (instead of ENOTEMPTY).

2004-12-14 18:37  holmberg

	* builtin/FileInfoTest.rb:

	Remove readonly attribute on files before deleting them. This is
	needed on Windows. The problem was in the teardown method rather
	than any actual testcase code.

2004-12-14 18:12  holmberg

	* builtin/TestIO.rb:

	Make sure the filehandles are closed even if the testcases
	"test_reopen1"or "test_reopen2" fail. When this wasn't	done all
	subsequent testcases failed on Windows, since an open file can't be
	deleted and the same filename was reused in several of the
	testcases.

2004-12-11 06:41  headius

	* builtin/TestTime.rb:

	fixes for assert_equal param order added JRuby to special case
	epoch string

2004-11-30 10:22  holmberg

	* builtin/TestFile__Stat.rb:

	Avoid testing the File::Stat#ino method on Windows. The Visual
	Studio documentation for "stat(2)" says:

	    The inode, and therefore st_ino, has no meaning
	    in the FAT, HPFS, or NTFS file systems

	Perhaps the method should not even be available in Ruby on Windows
	(but that is a bigger question). For now we just avoid testing it
	on Windows.

2004-11-30 10:11  holmberg

	* builtin/TestFile__Stat.rb:

	Use "_fstat_map" in the testcase "test_mode" to accomodate the
	weirdness of stat(2) on Windows.

2004-11-30 09:22  holmberg

	* rubicon_tests.rb, builtin/TestFile.rb:

	Moved the methods "_fstat_map" and "_stat_map" from
	"builtin/TestFile.rb" to "rubicon_test.rb". They turned out to be
	needed in more than one testcase file.

2004-11-30 09:16  holmberg

	* builtin/TestKernel.rb:

	Make file RW before deleting it on Windows. Otherwise it will not
	be possible to delete it.

2004-11-26 13:14  holmberg

	* rubicon.rb:

	Added recognition of FreeBSD, not just generic BSD.

2004-11-22 18:06  headius

	* builtin/TestObject.rb:

	fixed assert_equal arg ordering

2004-11-21 08:15  headius

	* builtin/TestNilClass.rb:

	added test for to_f

2004-11-21 08:13  headius

	* builtin/TestObject.rb:

	added tests for instance_variable_get and instance_variable_set

2004-11-19 18:02  holmberg

	* builtin/TestDir.rb:

	Removed hardcoded dependency on "C:/Program Files" on Windows.
	Instead use the environment variable "SystemRoot", that is
	available in all Windows variants(!?).

2004-11-18 14:00  holmberg

	* builtin/TestFile.rb:

	Made the tests of chmod(2) and stat(2) work on Windows. The file
	contains extensive comments about the peculiarities of these
	metohds on Windows (and Ruby contributes all by itself with some
	strange special cases).

2004-11-14 23:50  holmberg

	* rubicon_tests.rb:

	Modified 'assert_set_equal'. Previously duplicate elements in any
	of the array arguments were ignored. The new implementation is more
	strict, and this behaviour was probably what was intended from the
	start.

2004-11-14 23:42  holmberg

	* builtin/TestModule.rb:

	Modified test of 'private_instance_methods'. Now use
	'assert_set_equal' since the order of the returned names doesn't
	matter.

2004-11-14 00:21  holmberg

	* builtin/TestIO.rb:

	There is an error case where fseeko(3) sets errno to EFBIG instead
	of EINVAL on FreeBSD. It is triggered bu Ruby-code like "f.pos =
	-1". The testcase tested what Ruby exception should occur. Now we
	allow Errno::EFBIG too, beside Errno::EINVAL.

2004-11-12 15:45  holmberg

	* builtin/TestRange.rb:

	Modify tests to handle change in Ruby.	Up to 1.8.1 Range#include?
	and Range#member? were different. After 1.8.1 both works like
	Range#include?.

2004-11-12 11:09  holmberg

	* builtin/StringBase.rb:

	Indented some code totally lacking indentation.

2004-11-12 11:01  holmberg

	* builtin/StringBase.rb:

	Removed TABs in file.

2004-11-12 09:15  holmberg

	* builtin/StringBase.rb:

	Modify tests to handle changes in Ruby. Some examples to
	illustrate the changes:

	- str[10..6] has changed from returning nil to returning "".	The
	change occurs in 1.8.2.

	- '"foo" == :foo' behaved differently in 1.8.1: returning nil
	instead   of false.

2004-11-12 08:25  holmberg

	* builtin/TestDir.rb:

	Modified test to handle change in Ruby. From 1.8.2 a call to
	Dir.chdir {|dir| ...} with no arguments to "chdir" will still give
	a non-nil argument to the block.

2004-11-11 23:15  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Modify tests to handle changes in Ruby. Some examples to
	illustrate the changes:

	- arr[10..7] has changed from returning nil to returning [].	The
	change occurs after 1.8.1.

	- 'arr[5,2] = nil' has changed from just removing the elements
	denoted by the "slice", to first removing the elements and then
	also inserting the 'nil' element. The change occurs from
	1.9.0.

2004-11-11 09:19  holmberg

	* builtin/TestKernel.rb:

	"system" doesn't start throwing an exception until Ruby 1.9.0.
	(the test assumed it was after 1.8.1 before).

2004-11-10 09:19  holmberg

	* builtin/TestModule.rb:

	Removed all TABs.

2004-11-09 23:42  headius

	* builtin/TestThread.rb:

	fixed a deadlock in test_s_list

2004-11-09 09:33  holmberg

	* builtin/TestThread.rb:

	Add test that Thread.kill affects the "status" of a thread ("run"
	--> "aborting").

2004-11-05 07:10  headius

	* builtin/TestThread.rb:

	test_s_kill: criticalized the capturing of the "count" and killing
	of the thread; previously, the thread could run a bit more after
	the value was captured and before it was killed

2004-11-02 13:52  holmberg

	* builtin/TestThreadGroup.rb:

	Changed 'test_list' to work with JRuby too. The old code had
	implicit assumptions about the scheduling behaviour of threads in
	Ruby. Change suggested by Charles O Nutter.

2004-09-17 19:27  holmberg

	* builtin/TestDir.rb:

	Dir.chdir with block to non-existing dir + a directory above is
	unaccessible => we should still get Errno::ENOENT.

2004-09-17 19:21  holmberg

	* builtin/TestDir.rb:

	More tests of Dir.chdir: - with existing block - with/without
	existing target dir for chdir - with no argument, where HOME /
	LOGDIR is used - systematically test all combinations of HOME /
	LOGDIR being   set or unset

2004-09-10 18:16  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	More detailed testing of Array.new: - with one Array argument -
	with block - an error case

2004-07-08 09:12  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Added more tests to first and last methods: Test optional argument
	telling how many elements to retrieve.	Added some errors cases.

2004-07-07 21:32  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Added comments to delete_if and reject! methods to highlight the
	differences.

2004-07-07 21:20  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Moved tests common to collect! and map! methods to
	'generic_test_collect!'. Also added explicit tests of return
	values.

2004-07-07 21:07  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Added error case for * method.	Explicitily test return value of <<
	method. Added test with nested arrays for <=> method.	Added
	errors cases for <=> method.

2004-07-07 19:33  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Added some tests of the & method: - eql? is used in comparisons -
	added some error case (non-Array argument)

2004-07-07 19:26  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Change tests if Array#assoc and Array#rassoc to use assert_same
	instead of assert_equal. This is more accurate. Also modify the
	involved arrays to have several entries matching (the methods
	should choose the first).

2004-07-07 19:18  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	More tests of Array constructors: - Array.new with length argument
	- Array.new with length + value arguments - Array.[] with no
	arguments (i.e. creating empty array)

2004-06-21 13:08  holmberg

	* builtin/TestRange.rb:

	Moved Ruby version test for #length and #size outside the methods
	test_length and test_size, so we don't "pretend" to test these
	methods in later Ruby versions. I.e. instead of having empty
	methods we don't define them at all.

2004-06-21 13:03  holmberg

	* builtin/TestRange.rb:

	Added tests of #include? and #member?.

2004-06-19 17:31  holmberg

	* builtin/TestRange.rb:

	Added tests of ==, and more tests of ===.

2004-06-14 12:51  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Added more tests to Array#== and Array#===. For example: there
	were no "negative" tests before.

2004-06-14 12:20  holmberg

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Removed TABs used for intentation.

2004-06-12 18:49  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	#entries and #to_a are also aliases, and tested in one place now.
	Removed some remaining non-EachDefiner objects still tested by
	accident.

2004-06-12 18:30  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	Another alias pair find_all/select now share test code. Systematic
	rename of the generic_test_METHOD functions: it was better to have
	the name at the end (if it contains ? or !). Also other minor
	cleanups.

2004-06-12 18:08  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	Added more tests of #inject.

2004-06-12 17:47  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	Both #include? and #member? are now tested by
	generic_test_include?.	Also added tests showing that the methods
	use == for equality testing (e.g. 2 == 2.0).

2004-06-12 17:29  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	Added test of #entries where elements are nil and false.

2004-06-12 17:25  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	Check return value of #each_with_index.

2004-06-12 16:47  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	#detect and #find are aliases.	Now they are both tested by the
	method "generic_detect_tester". This avoids the possibility of
	diverging tests for the two aliases in the future.

2004-06-12 16:41  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	#collect and #map are aliases.	Now they are both tested by the
	method "generic_collect_tester". This avoids the possibility of
	diverging tests for the two aliases in the future.

2004-06-12 16:15  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	Changes to tests of #min and #max: Added tests with a block. Added
	tests for some error cases. Added more normal tests.

2004-06-08 23:08  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	Replaced Array literals with objects of a new utility class
	EachDefiner. Using Arrays was problematic: it caused some methods
	in Array to be tested instead of the corresponding methods in
	Enumerable ( collect, entries, include?, map, reject, select, sort,
	to_a, zip ).

	By consistently using EachDefiner objects we don't have to keep
	track of which methods of Enumerable that are overridden in other
	classes such as Array and Range (used earlier).

2004-06-07 09:11  holmberg

	* builtin/TestEnumerable.rb:

	Removed TABs used for intentation.

2004-04-10 20:21  chadfowler

	* builtin/TestKernel.rb:

	Exception#to_s removed from Ruby for Ruby2. Ancillary to the
	actual goal of this test, so I just slapped in .to_s.

2004-04-10 20:16  chadfowler

	* builtin/TestKernel.rb:

	Change to system() behavior. Raises exception if command not
	found.	Test modified to reflect.

2004-04-10 20:08  chadfowler

	* builtin/StringBase.rb:

	~"string" (rb_str_match2) removed from Ruby on February 2004.

2004-04-10 18:20  chadfowler

	* rubicon.rb, builtin/TestDir.rb, builtin/TestIO.rb:

	Added MacOS as a platform and changed the "/tmp" test in
	test_s_chdir to "/". "/tmp" is a symbolic link on MacOS, so the
	assertion failed (correctly).

2004-04-06 13:43  neoneye

	* release_package.rb:

	we can now build a package

2004-04-06 12:25  neoneye

	still broken.

2004-04-05 14:24  neoneye

	* builtin/TestException.rb:

	Added an exercise of bug in Exception#set_backtrace, see

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Did a comparison between Ruby-1.8.1's array.c and the testcases
	here. There seems to have been added a number of new methods,
	which we will need to test.

2004-02-17 00:26  neoneye

	* builtin/TestKernel.rb:

	It seems as if the process-exit-code has changed when invoking
	exit! I have added a version check.

2004-02-16 23:41  neoneye

	* builtin/TestModulePrivate.rb:

	Same problem as in 'TestModule.rb'. When AllTests.rb is invoked
	then PP gets installed, and #included_modules returns
	PP::ObjectMixin as an extra _unexpected_ element.

2004-02-16 23:34  neoneye

	* builtin/TestModule.rb:

	When AllTests.rb is executed, then the PP::ObjectMixin gets mixed
	in some places. What I have done is to delete them, whenever PP is
	defined.

2004-02-16 23:11  neoneye

	* builtin/TestIO.rb:

	Bommer I had typed 'io.clone' so that the 'file.close' worked out
	well. But left the 'io' unclosed. The #test_closed? testcase no
	longer fails.

2004-02-16 23:01  neoneye

	* rubicon_tests.rb:

	When running a specific file of tests, then we want the output to
	be as verbose as possible.

	For instance at the moment I am looking at a problem in
	'builtin/TestIO.rb'. If I run the testcase alone then it works.
	However if I run the whole file, then it fails. So some event in
	the past, before my testcase, breaks the future.

	In such case its nice to know the sequence of events.

2004-02-16 18:07  neoneye

	* builtin/TestIO.rb:

	The file descriptors got closed more than one time. Ruby-1.8.1
	raises Errno::EBADF when this happens, so therefore these version
	checks has been added.

2004-02-16 14:30  neoneye

	* builtin/TestFile.rb:

	#test_s_utime did a comparison between Time and Integer, but the
	comparison fails in Ruby-1.8.1. Anyway such kind of comparison
	doesn't belong here. It belong in TestTime.rb

2004-02-16 12:09  neoneye

	* builtin/TestMath.rb:

	NaN is here to stay. I have added a version check when doing
	sqrt(-1)

2004-02-16 09:10  neoneye

	* builtin/TestProc.rb:

	I guess the arity has changed with Ruby-1.8.1 too

2004-02-16 09:04  neoneye

	* language/TestLoopStuff.rb:

	The behavier of the expand start assignment was changed with
	Ruby-1.8

2004-02-16 08:53  neoneye

	* language/TestBlocksProcs.rb:

	Star expansion in conjunction with assignment def o.f; yield *[[]];
	end; o.f {|*a| assert_equal([[]], a)} def o.f; yield *[[]]; end;
	o.f {|a,b,*c| assert_equal([[], nil, []], [a,b,c])}

2004-02-16 08:40  neoneye

	* language/TestAssignment.rb:

	#testMultipleAssignment failed because of a version 1.7 assert
	which no longer makes sense.

2004-02-16 08:38  neoneye

	* language/TestAssignment.rb:

	*a = (1..7).to_a

	remember that the '*a' assignment wraps it in an array. so it
	becomes [[1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]]

2004-02-16 08:34  neoneye

	* language/TestAssignment.rb:

	The syntax for assignment has been changed in Ruby-1.8.1

	*a = [1] p a #=> [[1]]

	Earlier a had the value [1].

2004-02-16 03:57  chadfowler

	* language/: TestAssignment.rb, TestBlocksProcs.rb:

	Pass more tests

2004-02-15 23:16  neoneye

	* builtin/TestModulePrivate.rb:

	The #instance_methods was invoked without any arguments supplied.
	Older versions of Ruby (version < 1.8.1) defaulted to false.
	However this has changed in newer versions, so that all methods is
	returned. Now the tests passes OK.

2004-02-15 22:31  neoneye

	* builtin/TestModule.rb:

	Also Module#public_instance_methods, and #private_instance_methods
	has gotten their default argument changed from false to true.

2004-02-15 22:27  neoneye

	* builtin/TestModule.rb:

	Module#protected_instance_methods has also gotten its default
	argument changed from 'false' to 'true'

2004-02-15 22:19  neoneye

	* builtin/TestModule.rb:

	default value for Module#test_instance_methods seems to have been
	changed from 'false' into 'true'.

2004-02-15 21:10  neoneye

	* builtin/TestMath.rb:

	rubyunit#assert_raises(: has been replaced by
	Testunit#assert_raise(

2004-02-15 21:02  neoneye

	* builtin/TestProc.rb:

	reworked the #test_arity, so that its easier to determine where the
	problem is located.

2004-02-15 20:02  neoneye

	* builtin/TestThread.rb:

	rubyunit assert_match has opposite order of arguments than
	Test::Unit.

2004-02-15 19:59  neoneye

	* builtin/TestSymbol.rb:

	Fixed assert_raise + colon problem

2004-02-15 19:58  neoneye

	* builtin/TestStruct.rb:

	Fixed #assert_raise + colon problem

2004-02-15 19:52  neoneye

	* builtin/StringBase.rb:

	Fixed #assert_raise + colon problem

2004-02-15 19:49  neoneye

	* builtin/TestModulePrivate.rb:

	fixed #assert_raise + colon problem

2004-02-15 19:43  neoneye

	* builtin/TestModule.rb:

	Fixed #assert_raise problem with colon.

2004-02-15 19:41  neoneye

	* builtin/TestMarshal.rb:

	fixed Test::Unit assert_raise + colon problem

2004-02-15 19:39  neoneye

	* builtin/TestKernel.rb:

	rubyunit's #assert_match did take as its first argument=actual and
	second argument=regexp. Test::Unit is the opposite (more
	intuitive).

	Fixed colon with #assert_raise problems.

2004-02-15 19:28  neoneye

	* builtin/TestIO.rb:

	Test::Unit's #assert_raise method, is much smarter than rubyunit.
	However colon must be removed before usage

2004-02-15 19:19  neoneye

	* builtin/HashBase.rb:

	Hash#select seems to have been disabled in Ruby-1.8.1, likewise as
	Array#select.

	Fixed an #assert_raise with colon problem too.

2004-02-15 19:14  neoneye

	* builtin/TestFile.rb:

	assert_raise doesn't like colons, so I have removed them

2004-02-15 19:05  neoneye

	* builtin/TestDir.rb:

	assert_exception_kindof was a rubyunit thing, in Test::Unit its
	named assert_raise. (BTW: assert_raises is deprecated in 1.9)

	#test_s_delete, #test_s_rmdir, #test_s_unlink no longer raises
	SystemCallError. Instead they raise Errno::ENOENT,
	Errno::ENOTEMPTY.

2004-02-15 18:51  neoneye

	* builtin/TestDir.rb:

	The assert_raises statements didn't like the usage of ':'. So I
	removed colons and now its more happy.

2004-02-15 18:32  neoneye

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	It seems as if Array#select no longer can do the same as #index. I
	have thus inserted a Version < 1.8.1 on the #test_select case.

2004-02-15 15:57  neoneye

	* rubicon_tests.rb:

	#default_test, its better to be silent, rather than cluttering up
	the output.

2004-02-15 15:52  neoneye

	* language/TestRegularExpressions.rb:

	If version >= 1.8.0 then we use 'stringio' to capture $stderr
	warnings.

2004-02-15 14:58  neoneye

	* language/: TestAccessControl.rb, TestEval.rb, TestFloats.rb:

	rubyunit used #assert_exception, but Test::Unit uses #assert_raises

2004-02-15 14:54  neoneye

	* language/TestPredefinedVariables.rb:

	rubyunit used assert_exception, Test::Unit uses assert_raises

2004-02-15 14:52  neoneye

	* language/TestMethods.rb:

	rubyunit used assert_exception, but Test::Unit uses #assert_raises.

2004-02-15 14:31  neoneye

	* rubicon_tests.rb:

	we dont want a file without testcases to be interpreted as an error

2004-02-15 13:58  neoneye

	* language/TestRegularExpressions.rb:

	Ruby outputted an ambiguety warning

2004-02-15 13:48  chadfowler

	* rubicon_tests.rb, builtin/StringBase.rb:

	Fixed an error in TestString.

	Fixed a leftover RUnit/Test::Unit incompatability with running
	individual test methods from the command line

2004-02-14 00:46  chadfowler

	* builtin/TestTime.rb:

	Making tests pass (by fixing the tests)

2004-02-14 00:33  chadfowler

	* builtin/ArrayBase.rb:

	Cleaned up/modernized Array tests (except for one error)

2004-02-13 21:31  chadfowler

	* builtin/: TestStruct.rb, TestThread.rb:

	Cleaning up warnings

2004-02-13 21:28  chadfowler

	* rubicon_tests.rb, builtin/TestDir.rb:

	Getting much much closer on the Test::Unit integration.

2004-02-13 17:46  chadfowler

	* rubicon_tests.rb, builtin/ArrayBase.rb, builtin/TestTrueClass.rb:

	significant progress on porting to Test::Unit.	It's broken. I
	normally wouldn't check in something so broken, but I think this is
	so important to do before anything else, that I'm leaving it broken
	until someone (me probably) finishes fixing it in CVS.

2004-02-13 16:49  chadfowler

	* result_yaml.rb:

	Added a YAML results processor. I may replace the XML stuff for
	triple-r with YAML. This will allow us to remove the xmarshal
	hack.

2004-02-13 16:39  chadfowler

	* README:

	Updated the README to reflect what's going on here.
