Event Subscription App README

Build:
if necessary change the JAVAC, JFLAGS and JCLASSPATH macros in
	makefile
then run make to build the program

Run:
There are two scripts, createsub.sh and cancelsub.sh. createsub.sh is used to
start the event subcription app using the definitions from
subscriptions.xml. Cancelsub.sh is used to clear the subscriptions
	established by createsub.sh.

Control file:
Subscriptions.xml is the app's control file. It is possible to
specify multiple subscriptions, delimited by the <subscription> tag.
Each subscription exists of a <filter> and a <handler> tag.
The filter tag contains a WQL expression, the handler tag has subtags
<type> and <arg>. The type tag specifies the event handler type as
defined below, the arg tags the argument that are being passed to
	the handler.
Looking at the sample subscriptions.xml should give an idea.

Handlers:
	type: PopupAction
	arg: any [any ...]
function: Just echoes all the arguments to stdout

Substitution:
A simple text substitution feature is built into this applet. It is
possible to insert certain tokens refering to event properties, that
are being substituted at runtime. They are

			ela_reportindication class instance.
