This is the mp3toogg package. It will allow you to convert
your existing mp3 files into the free ogg format.
It comes in two fashion: command-line driven (mp3toogg) or with a
graphical user interface (mp3toogg-gui).

mp3toogg requires a set of programs to be installed. If you lack

	mpg321, mp3info, oggenc, vorbiscomment

the package installation will fail.
The gui interface requires

	zenity

to work. If this program is not found the gui interface is
automatically not installed.

Please note that currently there is a known issue with zenity:
new versions of zenity (>= 2.6) don't allow selection of
directories, this means that with those versions you won't be able
to convert the entire directory content via gui-interface.
This is a zenity bug. See

	http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=268030

for further details.

The configure script provides one non-standard option.

Use

	--disable-gui

if you don't want the gui interface to be installed on your system.
You may want this if you do not have any x-server or client at your
site, or you simply understand that textual interface makes you
more productive.
Also remember that gui interface is automatically not installed
if its prerequisites are not satisfied.

There are also enviroment variables that could be adjusted.
They are automatically filled with the right values at installation
time. If you still want to set them, you can get a list with some
meaningful description running

	./configure --help

at the top base directory of the mp3toogg package.
