KDbxViewer
==========

This is a program that can load the folder structure given in an Outlook Express 5.5
Directory. You can extract these emails into mbox files.

I would like to thank the Wine creators for their function which converts Win32
FILETIME structures to unix format.

USAGE
=====

kdbxviewer

Then select File->Open and locate your Outlook express folder. Click OK

KDBXViewer will then load the folder structure using the file "Folders.dbx".
You may then click on any of the folder names and the list of emails in that
folder will be displayed in the right-hand pane.

If you then click on an email in the right-hand pane, you will be able to view
the contents in the preview pane located beneath the emails. If you don't see
this pane, you can enable it using Settings->Preview Pane.

If you wish to export on a couple of emails, select the emails you want in the
email pane, then click Export->Selected... This will then open a Save As dialog.
Enter the name of the file you want to save as, then click OK. The emails will
then be saved.

If instead, you want to export your whole structure of folders, you can. Select
the starting folder in the folder tree, then click Export->Folder... Then choose
the target directory. There are 2 options here. The Recurse Folders option will
process all the sub-folders of the selected one. By default, they will all be placed
into the same directory. If you enable Create KMail Sub-Directories, then
sub directories will be created to enable you to view the folder structure within
KMail.

If you want to view the exported files from KMail, the target directory will probably
be ~/Mail/
