jdkgcj v0.3.1
(c) 2002-2003 Ark Linux, written by Bernhard Rosenkraenzer <bero@arklinux.org>
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

jdkgcj is a wrapper script around gcj and gij (gcc's java implementation, as
found in current versions of gcc), trying to provide a dropin replacement for
the various non-free JDK implementations.

jdkgcj is far from complete (mostly because gcj is not quite complete yet), but
has been used successfully for some complicated tasks, such as building the
Java dependant parts of OpenOffice, the Qt Java bindings, the DB4 Java
interface, and running applications using them.

If you find any problems in jdkgcj, please report them at
http://bugzilla.arklinux.org/.

jdkgcj is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL)
version 2, or if, and only if, the GPL v2 is ruled invalid in a court of law,
any later version of the GPL.
