This simple ROX-Filer applet'll let you launch your most used applications
without opening your wrapper directory. It works like the "K" button on KDE,
and the "foot button" on GNOME desktops.

When it first starts, it'll check if you have disabled choices file
creation. If not, a default configuration file'll be created. You MUST edit
if you want add icons there (or, if you have /usr/apps, you can start using
it without editing your Choices file, though you'll see an annoying message
saying to configure the menu). Mine follows:

l=ether
-
d=/usr/apps
d=/home/leandro/_/Groups/Internet
d=/home/leandro/_/Groups/Office
-
i=/home/leandro/_/Wrappers/l0gtk
i=/home/leandro/_/Wrappers/Terminal
i=/home/leandro/_/Groups/Choices
-
i=/home/leandro/_/Wrappers/Run
-
i=/home/leandro/_/Wrappers/Logout

The lines starting with "d=" will be the group entries (they'll show all
wrappers inside them -- they must be a directory), the ones with "i=" are
standard menu items, "-" are separator lines and "l=" are the labels.

Once it's all setup, just drag it to your ROX-Filer panel and start using (by
clicking on that slimy frog, then selecting your application).

This version comes with some error checking (ie: verifies if the configuration
file exists, verify if the program pixmap exists) and position the menu on
TOP of the frog (pfew, that was hard to understand!). I'm planning to add a
configuration tool to the next versions.

I almost forgot: this crappy piece of code is published under the terms of
GNU GPL version 2, by Free Software Foundation (www.gnu.org). You have a
copy of this license, since ROX itself is licensed under these terms. But if
by any reason you don't have it, try searching at www.fsf.org and other Free
Software related sites.
