Release 0.1.19 change log

Revision 1.1  1999/07/22 19:09:25  bogawa

Updated ToDo with new data, new ChangeLog tracks changes.

Changes since 0.1.18

- added support for embedded requests
- replaced MGCP stack's own upd implementation with the udp in util so that
  the MGCP stack will receive and send using the same port

Changes since 0.1.11

Transport
---------

Transport now matches sends and replies together.

The blocking send interface requires an additional thread to process.

Select() no longer tells you whether there are messages ready to
receive -- call checkMsgReady() instead. This code now works:

        FD_ZERO(&read_fds);
        state.callAgent->addToFdSet(&read_fds);
        ret_val = select(maxFd, &read_fds, NULL, NULL, &tv);
        while(state.callAgent->checkMsgReady(&read_fds))
        {
                MgCommand* msg = state.callAgent->receive();
        }

The new transports now allow for 1 receiving port and multiple sending
ports. As a result, send and reply both take a gateway/agent handle
as an argument. For reasons of backwards code compatibility, this
defaults to the handle created when calling the constructor with three
arguments.

Alternately, the constructor can be called with only a single
argument, that of the incoming port.

Build
-----

The Makefiles are now somewhat cleaner. I have added a "build"
directory which contains skeletal makefiles for the other makefiles to
include.

Add primitive debugging script and internal debugging support to allow
for debugging to be specified on the command line to programs using
the stack in debugging mode. Debugging support does not have to be
added to the executable explicitly -- just compiled into the library.

Examples
--------

Examples now work with the new APIs.

Bugfixes
--------

Fixed bug in transaction id output which caused them to sometimes not match.
