When you have converted all bookmarks from Netscape to KFM and mainly use
KFM you certainly have the problem that you need Navigator and cant
reach your current bookmarks any more.

Thanks to Jrgen Rinas {rinas@uni-bremen.de} this is no problem any more.

1.)

Point Naviagators homepage to (Edit->Preferences->Navigator)
to: file:/path-to-your-home/.kde/share/apps/kfm/bookmarks/

Now you can see your bookmarks but the according web sites are not
loaded yet.

2.)

Use a little BASH-Script, that reads the *.kdelnk-files
and makes Netscape read the desired sites using its -remote-option.

-------------- snip ---
#! /bin/sh

URL=`grep URL= "$1"`
netscape -remote "openURL(${URL:4})"

### EOF ###################
------------- snap -----

Move the file to /usr/local/bin/kdelnk2netscape (or somewhere else if you
want) and dont forget to invoke the following commands:

  chown root:root /usr/local/bin/kdelnk2netscape
  chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/kdelnk2netscape

3.)

Add a new mime-typ in Navigator to make it invoke the script:

Edit->Preferences->Navigator->Applications->New...

Description:  KDE Link
MIMEType:     application/x-kdelnk
Suffixes:     kdelnk
Application:  /usr/local/bin/kdelnk2netscape %s

Note for users of shells not bash-2.x
======================================

If you have an old bash V1.x you may have to use a modified script file as
the older version seems not to support the substitution function needed.

The same might of course apply to other types of shells, e.g. C-shell.

-------------- snip ---
#! /bin/sh

URL=`grep URL= "$1" | cut -c 5-1000`
netscape -remote "openURL($URL)"

### EOF ###################
------------- snap -----
