"Shut Down/Reboot" command doesn't work!
----------------------------------------
By default this commands works only with KDE Display Manager (KDM) and KDE.
You can try to adjust commands in "Configure... -> Actions".

"Logout" command doesn't work!
------------------------------
This command works only with KDE.
However you can try to set a custom command in the KShutDown settings
(Configure... -> Actions).

"Lock Screen" command doesn't work!
-----------------------------------
See above.
Try xlock (http://www.tux.org/~bagleyd/xlockmore.html).

How to enable KDM?
------------------
- Do it as root!
- Make sure you first create backup of the "/etc/sysconfig/desktop" file
- Remove all "GNOME" and "GDM" lines from "/etc/sysconfig/desktop" file
- Add new line: DISPLAYMANAGER="KDE"
- Reboot system and login again

NOTE: It seems there are different font dpis in KDM (75)
and GDM (96 by default).
To fix this, add "gnome-settings-daemon" to the KDE Autostart,
and change GNOME font dpi (gnome-font-properties).
The "gnome-settings-daemon" loads settings
for other GNOME apps (e.g. Evolution).
// FIXME: There are probably better solutions ..

No power off! (Only "System halted." message is displayed)
----------------------------------------------------------
Fix this in the KDE Control Center (as root).
Go to "System Administration -> Login Manager -> Session",
and change halt command to "/sbin/poweroff" (KDE 3.1.x).
// FIXME: apm

"kwrite" in the "Statistics" tab
--------------------------------
(...)
usernamepts/0 (...)kdeinit:kwrite
(...)

This is a KWrite Daemon
(it watches for messages from local users sent with "write").
This is not a KWrite Text Editor!
