Before next release items:
Evolve to the new gnome-print.
Printing outgoing messages.
Prefs option to send queued messages when checking for newmail?
If an outgoing message has an smtp rcpt error keep it in a queued state.
Cancelling an attachment save dialog closes the whole app.

General TODO:

Allow different default email addresses for different vfolders. (idea from frosch@derfrosch.de)
Clear the vfolder boldness when the last message is read (just check everytime you view a message that was previously unread).
BUG: Are we line breaking cc lines, or missing out long cc lines? See Thorstens list email.
Libglade'ize the entire main window.
BUG: Remove use of all dodgy global variables. They just add opportunities for bugs. eg: GmailApp->sortfield
Make it a prefs item whether to follow the selected message when doing a clist sort. The working code is currently commented out.
Obey the reply-to field.

Binary distribution issues:
Are we sure that the following things work via RPM:
	- panel menu item under Internet. NO?
	- online help files. PROBABLY
	- gnome sound setup in control centre. PROBABLY
	- relevant glade files work. YES.
Get a working debian package.

Printing TODO items:
Make it look professional.
Put in page numbering.
Implement a right margin, word wrap.

User Interface Related TODO Items:
Make the popup for outgoing mail update gradually...
We do a good job reusing the message widget (in both 2 + 3 pane modes). Do the same for the vfolder clist pane while in 2 pane mode.
Could we make vfolders just need a single click? (and in 2-pane mode single click alternates between a message of the vfolder list).
BUG: Use of styles prevents gmail responding the gtk theme changes 100% immediately. Might need to catch a signal to update our styles when the theme is changed.
Show To instead of From for the outbox.
Use GnomePropBox for preferences.
Automatically close popup window.
Give the option to sort by date in email or date downloaded.

MIME Related TODO Items:
Clean up the way MIME stuff is integrated into Gmail to make it easy to delegate it off to someone else to maintain.
Make binary/base64 attachments work. I think the decoding nearly works, but there are issues with the end of the file.
Make it an option whether the message pane only display the first text part of the message, or just the whole shebang. If we just display the first text part, add a system message to the bottom of the message signifiying if there are more attachments and how to get at them.
Make the file selecter automatically guess the filename when saving parts.
Put an attachment field in the vfolder clist?
Redesign the compose window to handle multiple attachments nicely.
Allow MIME parsing for our copy of outgoing messages.
Use mimetypes to automatically execute an attachment. Pan has nice code to do this.

MYSQL Related TODO Items:
Do some cleverer AI for the gnome druid mysql stuff. If we detect and existing username or database at least offer to delete and recreate it for them.
Add a prefs options to reset the default vfolders back to their default queries.

Networking Related Bugs:
If the SMTP server rejects one of the recipients print it to the std output.

TODO:
We still need to save the vfolders data at quit time, as the unread/read info may have changed for the vfolder.
What else can I do to reduce the memory footprint?
Reply/forward buttons need to check if there is something to reply to.
last_uid feature in pop3 to avoid old messages on server

For 0.6:
	- Finish implementing the rightclick popup menus. NEARLY DONE
	- Use libglade for compose, prefs and other windows. NEARLY DONE
	- MIME Support. NEARLY DONE
	- Gnome-print support. NEARLY DONE.
	- Queuing messages for later sending. eg: offline. Have a menu option to send all queued messages, as well as a prefs option to send queued messages when checking for newmail. If an outgoing message has an smtp rcpt error keep it in a queued state. NEARLY DONE.
	- Edit/Copy/Cut/Paste. DONE.

For 0.7:
	- GNU gettext translation support.
	- Automatic query builder. Initially a VERY useful tool would be an 'add person to vfolder' list check. An easy way to add email addresses to various vfolder queries would make it easy to categorise individuals into vfolders to keep the inbox empty. You could do this in the rightclick popup, or even use drag'n'drop.
	- Multiple POP3.
	- Use gnome property box widget for preferences.
	- 100% stability and working functionality of all (half) implemented features.

For post 0.7:
	- Allow external editors, especially vi (gvim).
	- Search feature
	- GUI vfolder query builder.
	- Trashcan.
	- Configurable key bindings.
	- Multiple clist selections.
	- Have simple (very basic) and advanced download popups that the user can choose. Controlled in preferences, but maybe a button to view it dynamically while downloading.
