 AsmEdit version 0.9 (beta)

To install copy the executable "a" to any directory
reachable from PATH. If you want helper routines
copy them to the same place you copied "a". "a" will
save its initialization files in this same directory
so it needs to be writable. In other words, it is
best to install "a" in user space. ~/bin is a good
place.

The file "a.hlp" is a short manual that is used
by "a" as its help file. If you want help within
"a" then copy "a.hlp" to the same directory as "a"
The help file has more information on setup and
helper routines.

The insert file command can use an external helper
program called "dir" if it is available. The "dir"
helper program will walk the directory structure
to find files. If the program "dir" is found
next to the "a" executable it will be used.
