Deleting Volume Parameters
Use
You delete the data for the specified
volume from the database parameter file.
Use this command with great care.
Inconsistencies in the volume settings can lead to damage to the
database instance.
Prerequisites
You have the DBM operator authorization
ParamCheckWrite.Syntax
param_delvolume <volno> <volmode>

Data Volume; the number of the data volume is assigned by the system as a four-digit number with leading zeros when creating the volume |

Log Volume; the number of the log volume is assigned by the system as a three-digit number with leading zeros when creating the volume |

Mirrored log volume ( Log Mode DUAL) |
