Operators that work with the database administration tool Database Manager are called Database Manager operators (Short form: Structure linkDBM Operators). Depending on their operator properties, they can start and stop Structure linkdatabase instances, perform backups, change database parameters, and so on.

Caution

DBM operators are not database users. You need to create database users in order to work on a database instance.
