Use

You are installing or updating components of the SAP DB software on Linux. You specify all required information on the command line, together with the command for starting the installation program.

You must take into account the dependencies between the SAP DB components to guarantee that the software installation can function.

Caution

If you have already installed SAP DB software on your server with the Red Hat Package Manager (installation with rpm package), then you can now use this program only for subsequent installations and updates.
You can no longer use SDBINST for installations and updates (installation with tgz package).
