Description

<independent_data_path>

Directory that, among other things, contains the following subdirectories with instance data:

·        Configuration directory

·        Run directory

<independent_data_path>/config

Configuration directory that, among other things, contains configuration files for database parameters, database tools, and files for user authorization

<independent_data_path>/wrk/<database_name>

Run directory of the database instance <database_name> that, among other things, contains the log files

<independent_program_path>

Directory with the following content:

·        Programs Independent of the Database Software Version

·        Libraries for the Client Run-Time Environment

<dependent_path>

Directory that contains the programs that are dependent on the database software version

/sapdb/<database_name>/data

Directory for data volumes

/sapdb/<database_name>/log

Directory for volumes

·        Log volumes

·        Mirrored log volumes

/sapdb/<database_name>/save

Directory for backup files

·        Log backups

·        Data backups
