Introduction
------------

This is an LD_PRELOAD library that allows Gtk applications to use KDE's file dialogs
when run under KDE. This will only work under KDE, as the KDE dialog portion is
implemented as a KDED module that is loaded at KDE startup. This creates a UNIX
socket through which the Gtk apps communicate.

Usage
-----

As an example for running Kino with KDE dialogs:

Either:
a. /usr/local/bin/kgtk-wrapper.sh /usr/bin/kino

Or:
b:
  1. ln -s /usr/local/bin/kgtk-wrapper.sh /usr/local/bin/kino
  2. When starting Kino, call /usr/local/bin/kino instead
  3. Alter /usr/share/applications/Kino.desktop to call /usr/local/bin/kino

Notes
-----

The library has been tested with the following applications:

1. Firefox. Works with 1.5, but not with 1.0.x
2. Inkscape. Works, except that only SVG is offered to the user as a Save format.
3. GIMP.
4. Kino.
5. AbiWord. Does **not** work.
