Some parts, however, are subject to different licenses.

The MP3 support in Herrie is borrowed from another command line music
player called Cmus. Cmus, as well as the MP3 decoding library it uses
(libmad) is GNU GPL licensed. This means that when you compile Herrie
with MP3 support, the binary is subject to the GNU GPL. This rule also
applies when using the LibAO audio output.

The 'src/queue.h' file is a stripped down version of
'src/sys/sys/queue.h' from FreeBSD. This header file is BSD licensed and
implements so called 'STAILQ' and 'TAILQ' macros for linked lists. The
exact license is stated below:
