Name: img_assist module
Author: Matt Westgate <drupal at asitis dot org>
Last update: (See CHANGELOG for details)
Drupal: CVS
Dependencies:
  James Walker's image.module at
  http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/sandbox/walkah/image/ OR
  upload.module (comes with Drupal). You can use either one or both.

DESCRIPTION
********************************************************************
An interface for adding images to any textarea that's aware of input
formats.

DEPENDENCIES
********************************************************************
This module depends on image.module or upload.module to add images
to the server. Installing Image.module will also let you add images
using img_assist.

INSTALLATION
********************************************************************
See the INSTALL.txt file in this directory.

WISH LIST
********************************************************************
- A way to remove image links from content.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULES ONCE INSTALLED
********************************************************************
Read this after installing the module.

Using this module involves two steps.

  1. Inside the textarea form field, place the cursor in the location where you
     want your image to be inserted.
  2. Click the image photo under any textarea box. Upload a new photo or find
     choose from an already existing image and insert it via the 'Insert image'
     button.

Most browsers such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla clones will
insert the image exactly where you place your cursor in the textarea of
your content form. Otherwise the image will be appended to the end of
your entry.

Adding images with image module
===============================
Users with the 'create images' permission will be able to add images using
img_assist.

IMAGE PRESENTATION
********************************************************************
The Image HTML template found at administer > settings > img_assist can be
controlled using CSS. Just assign the CSS class to the image after you insert it.
For example, assume you just inserted the following image:

[img_assist|fid=2]

Now you want to align it to the right and you created a CSS class 'image-right'
that looks like the following:

.image-right {
  text-align: right;
}

Just add that class to the image filter tag above:

[img_assist|fid=2|class=image-right]
