Name: Img_assist module
Author: Matt Westgate <drupal at asitis dot org>
Dependancies:
This module requires a Javascript-enabled web browser to work
  properly.

INSTALLATION
********************************************************************
1. Place the entire img_assist directory into your Drupal modules/
   directory.

2. Load the database definition file (img_assist.mysql) using the
tool of your choice (e.g. phpmyadmin). For mysql and command line
   access use:

     mysql -u user -p drupal < img_assist.mysql

Replace 'user' with the MySQL username, and 'drupal' with the
   database being used.

3. Enable this module by navigating to:

     administer > modules

4. Select the input formats inline images should be allowed for by
   navigating to:

     administer > input formats

To add inline images to the 'Filtered HTML' input format, click
the 'configure' link and check the Inline images box. Confirm
your changes by clicking the 'Save configuration' button.

5. Optionally, fine tune how this module operates by navigating to:

     administer > settings > img_assist

Img_assist introduces a new user permission (via 'admin/access')
called 'choose format type'. Users with this permission will be
allowed to choose if the image code is inserted as straight HTML or
as a macrotag that Drupal's filter system will expand to HTML after
the content has been submitted.

CAVEATS
********************************************************************
By default, Drupal uses the 'Filtered HTML' input format for adding
content to the site, but 'Filtered HTML' does not allow several of
the HTML tags that img_assist needs, such as <div> and <img>. To
change this, login as the site admin and navigate to:

Administer > input formats > configure > configure filters

Look for the 'Allowed HTML tags' field and add <img> and <div>.

Installation is finished. A small photo of an image will now be visible
below any textarea box. Clicking on that image will open the img_assist
interface.
