What is GNARWL
--------------

Gnarwl is a email auto reply/vacation tool, intented to be used on mailservers,
on which users may not (nescessarily) have systemaccoounts, but where
userinformation is stored in LDAP.

What are the benefits of gnarwl ?
---------------------------------

- User information is stored in LDAP, no need for system accounts.
- Configurable via single configuration file.
- Per user locking of sent email (to prevent mail loops).
- Next to intelligent decission algorithmen what to reply to and what not.
- No messing around with .forward files, all data is kept in LDAP.

What are the drawbacks of gnarwl ?
----------------------------------

- It's my first C program, expect bugs ;-)
- Requires LDAP (consider yourself, if this is a drawback or benefit ;-) ).
- More complicated to setup up than .forward based vacations (but way
  easier to maintain).
- Doesn't handle base64 encoded LDAP data (,yet ?)
