While we comply with the relevant standards in every way we can, and
while the purpose of standards is so that different programs can communicate
with each other even if they are developed independently, sometimes it is
the case that two programs that claim to "speak" a protocol cannot
communicate. In light of this, the following lists of programs we have
tested and found to be working is included.

  Balsa 2.0.14
  ============

POP3: Tested by adding an account (Settings -> Preferences -> Add ->
Remote POP3 mailbox), entering user details, and clicking the
          "Check" button.

IMAP4: Tested by adding an account (Settings -> Preferences -> Add ->
Remote IMAP mailbox), entering user details, selecting the newly
created mailbox from the "Mailbox" list, and entering the proper
           password.

Note: The purpose or use of "Remote IMAP folder" is not clear to
me. I am unable to test this feature with any server, including
           Quotient.

Note: Mozilla uses the XSENDER extension, which Quotient does not
support. These lead to error messages in the log file, but does
          not impede function.

IMAP4: Tested by adding an account (Accounts -> Create a new account ->
Email account -> IMAP), entering user details, selecting "inbox",
           and entering the proper password.

Folder creation was tested by selecting the newly created
account, right clicking, selecting "New Folder", entering a
           folder name, and clicking "OK".

Moving and copying messages was tested in the same way: by
selecting a message in the inbox, right clicking, and selecting
either "Copy to" or "Move to" and a target folder.
