You can find more information
about Dachshund at http://dachshund.sourceforge.net/

*** IMPORTANT ***
Dachshund is still under heavy development and is a pre-alpha product.
It cannot be used for real work yet.

Compiling Dachshund
===================

Building Dachshund from the source requires a GNOME 2
installation (including development components).
The GNOME 2 snapshots available from Ximian are known
to work (24 Aug, 2002).

Compiling from CVS
==================

The configure script must be built using
the autotools. This requires the following packages to
be present.

        package         version         command
        -------         -------         -------
        libtool          1.4             libtool --version
        automake         1.5             automake --version
        autoconf         2.52            automake --version

The script './autogen.sh' can be used to generate the configure
script. It will enable maintainer mode in the Makefiles which
consequently causes the UML metamodel to be generated during
the build.
