cpufreqd v1.0-pre1
--------

This daemon monitors /proc/apm for the battery status and scales your cpu
frequency according to a set of rules. It is very useful for providing
maximum battery life but good cpu speed at the same time.

The rules are configured in a flat text file in /etc/cpufreqd.conf.

Updates are currently available at http://www.staikos.net/~staikos/cpufreqd/

Please note, you must have /proc/cpufreq and support for cpu frequency scaling
on your processor in order for this to work.

Any patches or bug reports are welcome.
