                            MONOTHEKA FAQ
                            ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Q: How can I create my own HTML templates?
A: Take look at http://monotheka.enove.pl/doc/htmltemplates.xhtml for
a complete guide.

Q: It seems I can assign two identical ID's (No's) to two different
movies! Is this a bug?
A: No, this is actually a feature. The "No" is supposed to represent a
physical number of the disc(s) that the movie is on. This way you can
store a few movies on one disc (i.e. DVD data disc), and still have
each of them as a separate entry in the database.

Q: It would be cool If I could rate the movies (stars).
A: I'm sorry, I really don't like the stars system. Actually - I
consider rating movies in your own collection a waste of time. You can
mark single movies as "favorite" and that's really enough. You're not
selling your own movies, are you?

Q: Monotheka looks like a cool application, but I don't want to
install the whole GNOME just to run it! Can you make it less
GNOME-dependent?
A: Yes, but I don't want to. I prefer to target my app at a smaller
audience, but give the best experience possible (read - HIG
compliance, coherence with the rest of the desktop) There are other
media-cataloging applications and you should take a look at them
instead.

Q: Monotheka seems to be half-localized. I get menu items in my native
language and all the rest is in English.
A: There is no localization support right now. Common menu items are
localized by GNOME itself. Full localization is being worked on.

Q: I took a glance at the code. It looks pretty messy.
A: Well, that's true. A huge code rewrite is going to happen quite
soon, and we'll have a nice, totally object oriented mono-style code.

Q: Don't you know that MONO is evil?! Microsoft is going to kill it soon!
A: I don't care. But I promise to buy you a beer if that ever happens.
