INSTALL
=======
Unzip the phpMyBackupPro zip file to your webservers public html directory (e.g. Apache: xxx/Apache/htdocs/).
You need an webserver like Apache and php (> version 4.3) being installed on your server.

phpMyBackupPro will not work if you do not do the next steps:
-------------------------------------------------------------
1.) For security reasons move the file global_conf.php and the directory export to another directory, maybe change the names.
Best choice is a directory which is not public. (e.g. xxx/Apache/files/)

2.) Open the file definitions.php in an editor and change the line 28 and 29 to the paths you moved the global_conf.php and the directory export to.
This path must be relative to the file definitions.php. (e.g. ../files/global_conf.php)

3.) Set the rights of the directory export, the files in it named comments.dat and date.dat and the file global_conf.php to 0777 (read, write and execute for all).
(execute 'chmod 0777 file_or_dir_name' in a bash or use Windows).

You are (nearly) ready to use phpMyBackupPro!

Load the index.php file in your browser (e.g. http://localhost/phpMyBackup.v.x/index.php).
First change to the 'config' menu and insert your data.
When you start phpMyBackupPro next time you will have to login using your mySQL username and password!

phpMyBackupPro looks best (in my opinion) using Mozilla Firefox.

Please report any bugs and spelling errors at http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpmybackup/
