vsdviewer is a part of the sK1project.
It was made as a research tool to add MS Visio Drawing (VSD) and Stencil (VSS) file importer to UniConvertor.
The project site is http://www.sk1project.org/

This project was started on the base of the ALT Linux vsdump project
(See http://www.altlinux.ru and http://freshmeat.net/projects/vsdump).
So far vsdviewer uses pyemf by Rob McMullen and pywmf that was based on pyemf.

Dependency:
- pygtk [http://www.pygtk.org]
- pycairo [http://cairographics.org/pycairo/]
- pangocairo [http://www.pango.org/]
- libgsf (python bindings) [http://freshmeat.net/projects/libgsf/]
- pyemf [http://pyemf.sf.net], I'm going to include patched version in the tarball until Rob make a release of pyemf
- pywmf (included in the tarball, I would like to see it merged with pyemf)

Coding:
While this code is just a quick hack to simplify my research of VSD/VSS format,
it seems to be usefull as a VSD file viewer too.
See TODO to find out what is not implemented/finished yet.

WARNING!
THIS SOFTWARE IS AN EARLY ALPHA STAGE!

Using:
Run it and open file(s) with File->Open (^O) or just supply filenames to open in command line.
Left/Right mouse click in the drawing area scale up/down the drawing.
View->Tree (^T) opens window with a tree and hexdump of the file.
File->Close (^C) closes file on current tab
File->Quit    (^Q) quits the vsdviewer
File->SaveAs (^S) saves current page to SVG file

Happy hacking!
