OK, so what is LUCI ? LUCI is an Universal Configuration Interface. So
what does this mean? The aim of LUCI is to provide a way to edit any
configuration file via a graphical interface. Even if you are, like me, a vi
adept, you know the way to world domination passes through the
generalization of the graphical interface. Unix/Linux systems are full of
text configuration files, and LUCI allows the information within such files
be accessible to everyone without the need to use a text file editor.

But how does LUCI work ? The idea is: Every configuration file should come
with a little text file that describes it. LUCI needs this description file
to know how to read and edit the configuration file. Examples of decription
files are provided in the examples subdirectory. Don't hesitate to send me
your description files, I'll include them in the next release.

Go to http://luci.zubro.cjb.net for documentation, or go to the documentation
subdir and view index.html.

Run 'luci --help' to get available options.

Please email all comments concerning LUCI to me at Jerome.Sautret@netcourrier.com.
My future work on LUCI will depend on the feedback I receive.
