Introduction:
This is the msession daemon. It is a pseudo-database memory cache.
It is was originally designed for multiple web servers to share data.

No warranty is expressed or implied. Quite the contrary, it is known
to have bugs, and is probably unsuitable for any product. If you
use it, it is your responsibility to verify that it is suitable for your
needs. If you use it, you are on your own. You can submit bug reports
to bugs@mohawksoft.com, but there should be no expectation of support.

Known bugs:
The one bug that is known to exist, and is a design decision, is the
requirement of a homogeneous network environment. Binary representations
of numbers and strings are passed from client to server. Both client and
server must have the same representation of numbers. For instance, one
could not have a Sun ultra be an msession server and have x86 Linux web
servers. The Sun system and the x86 systems represent numbers differently.
The sun is big endian and the x86 is little endian. The x86 boxes will not
be able to format packets correctly for the sun system, and thus would
never be able to communicate.

This limitation was made for speed considerations as well as complexity.
This does not mean in the future that this will not change, it just means that
right now it is a known problem, and something to consider.
