What is this?
==========
python-iphonesync targets to provide a set of classes for use in applications
which want to synchronize data to and from iPhone/iPod Touch devices.

However currently it is mainly used to understand how the synchronization is
performed with a device.

What can it do?
==========
It is able to retrieve contacts, calendars and bookmarks from a device and
serialize the records into something useful like iCal or vCard data.

Synchronization is currently not fully implemented (there is read-only support
for contacts and events).

How to use it?
==========
First you need installed libiphone and libplist libraries and corresponding
Python bindings.

# ./iphonesync.py --help

This prints usage instructions.

Example to get all calendar events and save them to an iCalendar file:

# ./iphonesync.py -o calendars.ics com.apple.Calendars

If you are interested in using it with conduit, all you have to do is:

ln -s <directory of your checkout> ~/.config/conduit/modules/iPhoneModule
